Apple had some of the nicest lettuce, best baby greens and arugula in stock---and they're back--Rocco Reds, The Chef's Tomato--while supplies last---and Good News---The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) officially declared the outbreak over on September 11, 2026, and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) subsequently closed its investigation on October 2, 2026. Health officials are completely confident that all contaminated lettuce has long been removed from the market, and there is no longer a risk of people getting sick from this specific outbreak.
