The Village of Croton-on-Hudson is pleased to announce the appointment of Nora Nicholson as Director of Operations, effective October 2. Following final approval from New York State, she will transition to the newly created Assistant Village Manager position.
Nora brings more than 20 years of experience in management, project leadership, communications, and community partnerships, and was selected through a competitive recruitment process that attracted 35 applicants. She has served as a Village Trustee since 2022 and has stepped down from the Village Board as she transitions into her new role.
“Nora brings a strong combination of management experience, project leadership, and knowledge of the Croton community,” said Village Manager Bryan Healy. “I look forward to having her join the Village’s professional staff.” Please join us in welcoming Nora to her new role!

ReplyDeleteHow could a trustee who secretly interviewed for a position as assistant to the village manager and secretly selected for the role vote as a board of trustee to change the position to a status of deputy under New York State, village. How could that level of conflict, not demand recusing themselves. How can that vote stand under those conditions that existed at the time of her participation in the vote.
ReplyDeleteAnd how could our outside legal Council retained to protect the village, allow such corruption to publicly occur and participate in its execution.
