SARCONE: UTICA MAN WIN NAING SENTENCED TO 4 YEARS ON CHILD EXPLOITATION CHARGES

US Attorney John Sarcone announced on Monday, September 28 that 21-year-old Win Naing of Utica was sentenced on Tuesday, September 15 to four years in federal prison after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography. Chief US District Court Judge Brenda Sannes handed down the sentence in front of the District Court in Syracuse.

“This defendant’s criminal conduct is abhorrent and only serves to revictimize the children depicted in the child sexual abuse material the defendant sought out and collected,” Sarcone said in a statement. “The defendant’s conduct has now landed him in federal prison, which will hopefully serve as a warning to him and to others inclined to engage in this type of conduct: You will be found and you will be prosecuted.” MORE AT Utica man receives prison time on federal child exploitation charges
