UPDATE ON QUAKER BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION VIA THE VILLAGE WEBSITE

Westchester County has received the approvals needed, and C.A.C. Industries, the contractor for the Quaker Bridge project, will start construction on Monday, July 6. Initial construction will be a five-day, eight-hour schedule. Based on this schedule, substantial completion and bridge opening is currently targeted for May 7, 2027. The contractor will work through the winter to meet that date. DPW is working with the contractor to see if the work can be accelerated.
