Thanks to the alert residents who sent this along. We have no idea where this $15,000 "flashing beacon will be installed" on a street somewhere with "many older residents

UPDATED: I HAVE ASKED THE VILLAGE MANAGER. I HAVE GOTTEN A RESPONSE. HE SAYS:  The rapid flashing beacon is slated to be installed on Maple Street adjacent to Maple Commons.

    It'll go good with the no left turn sign, the ugly clock, and our newest "park". It's all just one more reason to take my money out of town.
