Thanks to the alert residents who sent this along. We have no idea where this $15,000 "flashing beacon will be installed" on a street somewhere with "many older residents

UPDATED: I HAVE ASKED THE VILLAGE MANAGER. I HAVE GOTTEN A RESPONSE. HE SAYS:  The rapid flashing beacon is slated to be installed on Maple Street adjacent to Maple Commons.
