Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 2:00 pm with Historian Phil Devlin---The Allied assault on German-occupied Normandy, France was unlike any other, in a war unlike any other. A force of nearly 160,000 landed on the beaches that day, including 73,000 Americans; more than 57,000 arrived by sea, and more than 15,000 landed by parachute and glider. And this was merely the initial invasion.
