FROM THE CROTON EMS FB PAGE--After braving a couple of snowy weeks, we’re excited to spotlight our president, Bill McCabe! Bill grew up in Ossining and began his journey in emergency services volunteering with OVAC Explorer Post 1418. He later became a life member of both Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Briarcliff Manor Fire Department. After moving to Croton, Bill joined and became a founding member of the Board of Directors at Croton EMS 17 years ago. Altogether, he has dedicated more than 37 years to emergency services, serving in roles including Captain, Vice President, and most recently, President of CEMS. Outside of EMS, Bill is a retired telecommunications technician who enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family—and you know he’s loyal, because he’s a diehard New York Jets fan!
