As many of you know, Howard da Silva  was one of the village's most notable residents. 

We stumbled across this 1955 ad for the Crystal Lake Playhouse Repertory out of Chestertown, NY-----for a play he directed called PRODIGIOUS SNOB and featuring OSSIE DAVIS.
