Croton burglary suspect released on his own recognizance after nearly a year in jail.

Carlos Liriano, accused of burglary at two Croton residences as well as in other locations in New Jersey and the Bronx, was released today from Westchester County jail in Valhalla.

Carlos Liriano, who has been in the Westchester County jail since last December after being arrested in Croton and charged with burglary of residences on Wells Avenue and Piney Point Avenue, was released on his own recognizance today.

An official at the Westchester County Department of Correction confirmed an alert received by the Chronicle within the last hour.

  1. The blog has had numerous inquiries---where is he now? The Chronicle editor stated--on their Substack--in comments, the following: I do not know, but he was resident in the Bronx before he was arrested.
