As always, some wonderful new finds, oldies but goodies, special requests and more. Click on the photos and links.
We've
been chatting about old-fashioned soda fountains a lot lately--and how
much they are missed. That reminded your editor about this LOC photo from 1945,
worth sharing again. It's followed by a great piece of mid-century Marx/Disney tinplate
(pre-woke) that was featured in a 2014 auction at Serioustoyz. And
finally a fab 1919 Christmas ad for Kodak; check out the very expensive
looking fur ensemble the model is wearing! Again, click on the photos and links.
