MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

As always, some wonderful new finds, oldies but goodies, special requests and more.  Click on the photos and links.

We've been chatting about old-fashioned soda fountains a lot lately--and how much they are missed. That reminded your editor about this LOC photo from 1945, worth sharing again. It's followed by a great piece of mid-century Marx/Disney tinplate (pre-woke) that was featured in a 2014 auction at Serioustoyz.  And finally a fab 1919 Christmas ad for Kodak; check out the very expensive looking fur ensemble the model is wearing! Again, click on the photos and links.

Toys of the 1960's, British, video; more here

We love looking at this one: Courtesy of ToyConnect, Early 50’s Marx plastic fire house; the architecture on this is very nice...

The Marx Fire House was part of the Marxville line of plastic building kits marketed by Marx for its 3-rail O-gauge toy trains and marketed in the early 1950s. SEE more here

1970, video, Christmas TV Show, the late Glen Campbell; this is a fun video for so many reasons, and also a little sad....This is how we'd like to remember him best--see it here
