MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

One of our favorite "custom" putz houses from Howard Lamey--love the bay window---you can see the original house--and more photos at the link below--just keep scrolling down the page once you get there http://bit.ly/1000GXu

It's followed by a 1957 ad for one of our favorite films, Raintree County with Montgomery Clift, Elizabeth Taylor and Eva Marie Saint, set during the Civil War, and directed by Edward Dmytryk.

Panned by the critics and plagued with problems during production, it has nevertheless developed a cult following.

Next up, a 1944 Berke's fruitcake ad.  Fruitcake, when done right, is marvelous---but it's one of those things you either love or hate.  Still, a great uncle said that fruitcakes were indeed a reminder of home and always appreciated during his time in the Philippines.

And finally, a 1960 Christmas advertisement---SANTA'S GIANT CHRISTMAS PACK--a tree and 100 toys--all for $1.49!  Click on the photos and enjoy.

FANTASTIC piece of vintage T. Cohn tinplate--Sunnyfield Farms Barn--the graphics are outstanding. See it here.
