1962, CROTON'S VAN CORTLANDT MANOR ON TELEVISION

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton-on-Hudson: our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

At Everything Croton, your editor and the elves try to answer all requests---even if it takes a very long time(!)

Here's an old one--the reader was looking "for anything about the time Van Cortlandt Manor was on t.v. in the 60's or 70's".  We unearthed this one from 1962, courtesy of THE CROTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY's newspaper archives. Click on the images. "Leda Simone" AND "Mrs. H.C. Knoll" are featured.

And a reminder: Van Cortlandt Manor will be open for tours  through the end of August---Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays....you may also have an interest in https://bit.ly/2MwKybP
