PHOTOS FROM "CHRISTMAS WITH THE CELTS" FEATURING STUDENTS FROM CORTLANDT SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton-on-Hudson: our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship -- in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

It was your editor's privilege to attend the performance of CHRISTMAS WITH THE CELTS at the beautiful Parmount Hudson Valley Theater last night (paramounthudsonvalley.com/). This newly restored 1930 theater is a visual pleasure to behold--and the CHRISTMAS WITH THE CELTS performance did not disappoint--Irish step-dancing, ancient Christmas carols, and a Celtic interpretation of Led Zeppelin's Kashmir that brought almost everyone to their feet. You'll find their music on Amazon.

Should CHRISTMAS WITH THE CELTS return next year, don't miss them! Vocalists from the CORTLANDT SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS also performed. For more about CSPA, visit http://www.cortarts.com/

  2. We had a blast. I love providing these kinds of experiences for our students at CSPA. The audience made us feel like "celebrities" after the show, showering the kids with compliments. Thank you for coming, Maria.
