BEN-HUR: A TALE OF THE CHRIST, ALL ABOUT THE 1925 SILENT FILM VERSION, FROM EUROPEAN FILM STAR POSTCARDS

Long before there was the 1959 critically acclaimed movie spectacle BEN-HUR with Charlton Heston and Stephen Boyd, MGM produced an equally acclaimed 1925 silent film version starring silent screen idols Ramon Navarro and Francis X. Bushmann (click on the photo).

    My grandmother used to tease my grandfather, who do you think you are Francis Bushmann? I always wondered who that was. Now I know he was a heart-throb silent film star. Thanks!
