Asbury United Methodist Church Welcomes Pastor Melissa Hinnen - (click on the photo)

On Sunday , September 28, 2014, the congregation of Asbury Croton United Methodist Church  enthusiastically welcomed their new pastor, Melissa Hinnen.  Pastor Hinnen is a 5th year Master of Divinity student at New York Theological Seminary and a certified candidate for ministry in the United Methodist New York Annual Conference.  Pastor Hinnen is currently Director of Content and Public Information at the General Board of Global Ministries,  United Methodist Church.  Prior to her current position  she was Director of communications at UMCOR [[United Methodist Committee on Relief], an organization that provides humanitarian relief when war, conflict, or natural disaster disrupt life to such an extent that communities are unable to recover on their own. She has also served as a student pastor at the New Day United Methodist Church, Bronx, NY., and as a minister at the United Methodist Church of the Village in Manhattan where she was a founding member.

Her personal and professional travels have taken her to places such as: The Philippines, Japan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Haiti, Mexico, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Greece, Turkey, and Palestine/Israel. Her greatest passion is worship planning and she has enriched it with her worship experience from around the globe.  

Please  join us Sundays for Worship Service at 10:30 am as we hear her inspirational messages. The church is located at 17 Old Post Road South in the center of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson.
