Click on the photos to see slected pages from a promotional bookelt for Sears Roebuck and Co. dated 1914--wouldn't some of these buildings make a fabulous putz building!
We found a great site called Yesterland courtesy of Ed Berg--it features discontinued Disney attractions http://www.yesterland.com/
Our friend and fellow collector--and authority on all things putz-ian, Tom H., is having surgery tomorrow. Best wishes Tom--we'll be waiting to hear from you!

ReplyDeleteWe still shop at Sears and always will.
ReplyDeleteThey recently announced right around the New Year that they would be closing stores again. I find this depressing. We go there for our coats, our appliances, curtains. They always stood by what they sold and the one time we had a problem they fixed it right away.
