YADA YADA YADA

Happy to report that while there have been some downright funny social media screenshots in the mailbox (oh how they're making the rounds--I've gotten five of the same event already), most folks are enjoying the charms of a four-day weekend with friends and family instead.  But a couple of things merit a quick post before Sunday beckons:
