With some but not all teams opening their season last week, below find the first lohud Field Hockey Player of the Week poll, presented by White Plains Hospital.

The field hockey player poll will run into the playoffs. This week, coaches nominated four athletes for their Sept. 1-5 play, descriptions of which appear below. The poll will close Thursday at 3 p.m.
