1924, GLORIA SWANSON & ROD LA ROCQUE IN "A SOCIETY SCANDAL"

We stumbled upon these two 1924 ads for the production of "A SOCIETY SCANDAL" directed by Allan Dwan---starring Swanson and Rod La Rocque.  Click on the images.

Distributed by Paramount Pictures, the film is based on a 1922 play The Laughing Lady, by Alfred Sutro which starred Ethel Barrymore in 1923 on Broadway and originally in 1922 with Edith Evans in the UK.

With no copies of A Society Scandal located in any film archives, it is considered a lost film---as many of Swanson's films are.
