GOUVEIA--OSSINING---BANK FOR SAVINGS

With our own Gouveia Park in the news---and costs ever rising year after year---the blog has been receiving requests for info about that other Gouveia gift---the Bank for Savings in Ossining which, to our knowledge, still remains empty. 

Proposal after proposal has come and gone---affordable housing, a jazz venture, an arts and cultural center, a winery, etc. etc. etc.

Costs to bring the building into this century were 2.9 million---and that estimate is from some years ago.
