A community vigil will be held in honor the life of Sheridan Gorman at 6 p.m. on Saturday at Jack DeVito Veterans Memorial Field in Yorktown Heights. Gorman, 18, of Yorktown, was shot and killed on March 19 in Chicago, where she a freshman at Loyola University. Jose Medina-Medina, a 25-year-old Venezuelan migrant, has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with Gorman’s death.
