FROM THE MAILBOX--ON THE POSSIBLE DISSOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COURT

There's been quite a bit of commentary about the possible dissolution of the village court, once again in the village board's crosshairs. Four years ago, residents made their views known on the subject. It was a resounding NO.

On March 11th, the village board will meet and vote on the allocation of $37K for a study etc. of this issue. You may want to make your views known at that time or by emailing the board at

BoardofTrustees@crotononhudson-ny.gov

At present, there is quite a bit to google online regarding the subject, and you may want to do so.

Judge Watkins is on a record opposing this issue now as he was back in 2022.
