Response: There were a few. Here's the only one we know about at Croton Landing. (Though there were also unofficial reports). Date/Time: 03/03/2021 2:07 p.m. Call Type: Village Ordinance...Narrative: Caller reported that she is at Croton Landing and there are "a lot of people not wearing masks" and they are not all socially distanced. Caller further stated that she thought everyone was required to wear a mask in the park. Patrol responded and reported that those who were not wearing masks were socially distanced. No violations observed.

Response: There have been and continue to be--numerous allegations of conflicts in this industry.  But this may be what you are looking for; it was actually from the Buffalo News. To the reader looking for info on an "autonomous zone from *down county* and a few years back"---sorry the only "autonomous zone" we know of "locally" was one in White Plains. It did not last long however and in fact, the protesters were evicted July 2020.

THIS NEWS 12 LINK IS STILL ACTIVE AS OF THIS DATE---- "Lower Hudson Democratic Socialists".....the city has evicted the protestors.  NEWS 12 - excerpted; they want White Plains city leaders to strip funds from the White Plains Police Department, specifically the $1 million increase given to police patrol. The group says it wants that money to be given to those hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic by canceling rents that are in default....On Wednesday afternoon, the city evicted the protesters from the field.
