HAPPY FEAST OF THE EPIPHANY

HAPPY FEAST OF THE EPIPHANY---THE THREE WISE MEN A.K.A. THE THREE KINGS HAVE ARRIVED....and one of the most beautiful nativity scenes around is the interior creche at Holy Name of Mary.

All the pieces are very large, wonderfully rendered, and always thoughtfully arranged by volunteer Church members....stop in to see it soon...in the meantime, here are The Three Wise Men.

--ST. AUGUSTINE CATHOLIC CHURCH still carries on the Epiphany tradition of THE BLESSING OF HOMES...this dates from the Middle Ages.

--And now a special treat with many thanks to a thoughtful reader- and "company". A very beautiful nativity set, purchased in Germany in 1933--and given as a wedding present in 1938. 

It was hand carved and painted by a master artist. The human figures are about 8" tall. The Wise Men are wonderfully detailed. Click here
