It's not easy prepping for the annual Croton Fire Fair--the food, the equipment, setting up and transporting the "museum", etc.---it all requires many many hours---yes, it's a lot of hard work but as one volunteer said, it's also a lot of fun, immensely satisfying and from an educational perspective, important as well.
