The very well-attended 2015 Croton Veterans Day Ceremony was held in the municipal building this morning. Outstanding commentary from guest speaker Eugene Parrotta Jr., inspiring benediction from the Rev. Melissa Hinnen of Asbury Methodist Church, the annual Girl Scout "cookie" tribute to the vets, and of course, the Croton Boy Scouts/Cub Scouts were in attendance as well to show their respect-- as were many others. It was a very nice service and the speaker was excellent. Third generation military I believe.
