A REAL SLICE OF SMALL TOWN CROTON LIFE--the way we like it: The annual Croton Lions Christmas Tree Sale started today.

And...a bevy of volunteers arrived this morning to unload the tractor trailer: the Freshman, Junior Varsity and Varsity Boys Basketball Teams--Croton Cheerleaders--and Boy Scout Troop 28 too--and other Crotonites too numerous to mention. Of course, Don Daubney threw out the traditional "first" tree.
