A banner day for vintage Saturday finds in the Hudson Valley--starting with a Peekskill tag sale that yielded a box of Popular Science magazines from the 20's, 30's and 40's--all for ten dollars--a goldmine of vintage Christmas ads--now many of these magazines are in terrible
shape--but you know we'll salvage as much as we can--like this 1940 two part ad for
Lionel trains--and of course ERECTOR SETS! Just click on the photos!
Enjoy!

If you're a fan of cardboard dimensional antique and vintage Dresden ornaments but the prices have you running for the hills (some can go as high as three hundred dollars and more), then have we found a site for you.
This ETSY shop recreates Dresden ornaments from old German molds--and well, check it out for yourself https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheDresdenCottage

Love the idea of making my on feather tree and I think I could do it, but the special feathers are so expensive.
