Gig was a great guy, good soul, handsome, clever, kind.
ReplyDeleteGreat sense of humor. I remember the funeral was well attended by almost everyone in the village. We just seemed to have a greater respect for our military back then.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I was very little, I kind of remember this, mostly people talking about it and being sad, something I didn't really understand at the time.
