JULY 1950, CANDID CAMERA CATCHES CROTON, JACK SLATTERY & GEORGE BARTON STAR!

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

As many of you know, Candid Camera's Alan Funt lived in Croton on Mt. Airy Road; you can read more about that here, courtesy of the outstanding archives of The Croton Historical Society  http://everythingcroton.blogspot.com/2012/06/smile-youre-on-candid-camera-courtesy.html

So...when this July 1950 article came Everything Croton's way, it just had to go up! Note that Mr. Funt's name is misspelled "Funk". Click on the photos below; enjoy!

P.S. Since Camel & Philip Morris Cigarettes are mentioned, also included are two 1950's ads from the EverythingCroton archives.

Editor's note: Please...no comments about the tobacco industry.
