MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

So which did you prefer? The Munsters or The Addams Family? In our house, we watched both. To the right, a recent offering at Auction #55 of Croton's own Serioustoyz.com - from 1965, The Addams Family Colorforms set. It seems funny to think that Colorforms were all the rage at one point, but they were.

The set sold for $135 at the auction by the way. Click on the photos.

Collections Etc. is having a "private" sale; many Christmas items reduced; admittedly there's some shlock here but every now and then a winner! http://www.collectionsetc.com/

And from Toys & Stuff:
The Halloween paper kits found on Ray O'Bannon's website are not finely detailed scale architectural renderings but rendered in more of a cartoon style which I really like. These would look right at home in a Scooby Doo cartoon. For more, click on the link http://www.toyconnect.blogspot.com/2013/10/ravensblight-manor-pt-2.html

  1. To me as a small child, the Munsters' humor was more accessible. Chances are if I rewatched them both today I'd "get" more of the Addams family humor. Certainly J.A. as Gomez was perfect. Did you know that the kid who played Eddie Munster got the job because his teeth really looked like that?
