A commenter on one of the pages reminded everyone---with a chuckle---about all the complaints that we were going to be overrun with "bird-feeder" rats, mice, pigeons AND BEARS when the "bird business" opened back in the day.
Had quite forgotten about those and the now defunct North County News Community Forums, a sort of social media precursor.
