To the Editor:

On behalf of the Croton-on-Hudson Police Advisory Committee, I would like to thank the Croton Police Department for another spectacular National Night Out on August 4, 2026. Chief Nikitopoulos and Officer Jeremy Davis did a fantastic job organizing the event and all officers made the night fun for all.

Of course, the event would not have been possible without the contributions of many. Thank you to the Croton-on-Hudson Department of Public Works, Recreation Department, Fire Department, EMS, Shoprite, Hudson National, Mike Risko Band, 3rd Universe, the New York State Police, the Croton-on-Hudson Police youth cadets, Mt. Kisco Sweets and Treats, My Sister’s Place, Mark Franzoso, Eleanor Kwei, Lynn Harmonay, Bob Whiting, Village Manager Healy, and Police Advisory Committee members Miles Kafka, Manuel Coronel, Teri Lukin, Frank Pusatere, and Susan Skrelja.

Most of all, thank you to all who attended the event, for you are what made the night so very special. We enjoyed meeting so many neighbors and we look forward to next year’s National Night Out.
