VOLTAGE REDUCTION EXPANDS TO MORE WESTCHESTER TOWNS AS HEAT DOME PROBLEMS PERSIST FOR SECOND DAY

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Con Edison is asking customers in more communities in Westchester County to conserve energy while company crews race to repair equipment.

Con Edison has reduced voltage by 8 percent in the areas as a precaution to protect equipment and maintain service as repairs are completed, according to the utility.
