Crews from the Briarcliff Manor, Croton-on-Hudson, Chappaqua, Millwood, Ossining, Pleasantville, Pocantico Hills, Port Chester, and Thornwood fire departments all responded to the blaze. According to Croton firefighters, crews worked on both floors to extinguish the flames while opening walls and ceilings to check for hidden fire extension.
