Hello all,
I guarantee that after this week the cold weather is over! So get out your clippers, gloves and rakes and get out in the garden. Gardening is a great form of exercise, you'll find muscles you never thought you had.

ALSO FYI FROM CAROLYN WHITING:
On behalf of the Croton-on-Hudson Police Advisory Committee, I would like to invite you to the Police Department’s flag raising ceremony on May 9, 2026, at 9:30 AM, in recognition of National Police week. The ceremony will take place at the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building and will take approximately twenty minutes with light refreshments to follow.
I also invite all residents to cheer on the Police Department runners participating in the Tri County Law Enforcement Torch Run, supporting Special Olympics NY on May 12, 2026. Officers will pick up the torch from the Ossining Police Department at the intersection of Croton Point Avenue and South Riverside Avenue at approximately 3:05 PM. The runners will follow South and North Riverside Avenues/ Route 9A to the northern Village line, just south of Food Town where they will hand the torch off to the next set of Police runners. You are invited to stand anywhere on the route and cheer on the runners. The Croton Police Department has the longest Westchester leg of the charity run at approximately 4.7 miles.
