Many of us are not on social media, but we often get to hear about it and are sometimes sent screenshots--here's only some issues currently burning up local social media in no particular order:
***The school candidates forum at the Episcopal church (St. Augustine) was very well attended; lots of chatter--and positive adjectives---thoughtful candidates, well moderated by Croton Community Coalition, etc. You should have no problem finding this across multiple village pages, forums, etc. Do your own diligence.
***Bots, bots, everywhere a facebook bot....no further comment necessary.
***Jacob Day apparently had a recent kickoff that was very well attended. Lots of positive Day chatter.
***Summerfest chatter. Lots of excitement about warmer days and Summerfest. Talk about honoring former mayor Greg Schmidt as a future Grand Marshall in the parade....
***Lots of anti Hasan Pike Chatter; not going to bother with any of it; you'll find this easily across multiple pages, media, etc.
***Few attempts, at least locally, to defend the SPLC. Not going to bother with any of it. It's out of our hands.
