Croton River Artisans Gallery is proud to welcome photographer Scott Levine as November's Visiting Artist. His show, Landscapes along the Hudson, will be on display November 1-30, 2025 with an opportunity to meet the artist at a reception on Saturday, Nov. 15, 3-5 pm. Light refreshments will be served.
Scott Levine is a photographer and writer based in Croton-on-Hudson, New York. His recent photography work centers on landscapes and daily life, with an emphasis on everyday scenes that we all might miss as we stumble through our lives.
As a lover of “slow photography,” Scott concentrates on the basics, lighting, timing, and most importantly, composition. With these methods at the center, his work asks us to see what’s around us that we might not notice right away.
All the pieces in this exhibit are photographs Scott made in the Croton/Peekskill/Verplank area, just a few miles from this gallery.
All of them bring a sense of place, beauty and of belonging to our little corner of the world.
