THE SPRING 2018 EDITION OF THE CROTON HISTORIAN: FIVE OUTSTANDING CROTON WOMEN

The Spring 2018 edition of THE CROTON HISTORIAN has arrived...for those who don't know, this quarterly newsletter is a perk that comes with membership in The Croton Historical Society.

AND NOW FROM THE DESK OF THE HISTORIAN...via Thomas Simone, Curator, Croton History Museum & Vice President of The Croton Historical Society:

The Spring Issue of THE HISTORIAN is a little late.  Our Historian, Dorothy (Dodie) Pezanowski was taken seriously ill in early March (she has since passed away) and Cornelia Cotton stepped in and provided material for the issue culled from her notes when she recently spoke at the Croton Library for Women's History Month (click on the newsletter image).  The Society extends their thanks. (THE FIVE OUTSTANDING WOMEN FEATURED ON THE COVER ARE CRYSTAL EASTMAN, ELIZABETH MOOS, SOPHIE DELAR, LOUISE BRYANT AND LILLIAN NORDICA.)
