TROOP 28 CONTINUES THE MEMORIAL DAY FLAG TRADITION AT CROTON'S BETHEL CEMETERY

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

A word from Croton Boy Scouts Troop 28: Our Troop 28 Boy Scouts assisted members of the American Legion last Friday, May 25th at Bethel Cemetery. The scouts replaced about 350 American flags on the grave sites of veterans. This has been an annual tradition for Troop 28. It has always been a great way for our Scouts to start the Memorial Day weekend and honor our veterans!  Click on the photo.

  1. This gives me some hope. When I turn on the television and see what passes for today's youth, I am usually disheartened. It's nice to see that this tradition goes on here in the village. So much has changed and not for the better but you can always count on the churches and the scouts.
