ANOTHER CROTON VILLAGE GARDEN CLUB PROJECT--CAN U HELP ON 7/18?

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

Once again, many thanks to the volunteers of the Croton Village Garden Club; without them, so many of our parks and other village spaces would continue to look neglected. And now a word from Richard Zumbach:

Click on the photo below to see what the Croton Landing flagpole garden looked like last year when we first planted it. It’s grown a lot since then and looks great. And now, tomorrow--7/18--we are gong to plant the outside of the circle to complete the original garden design. It’s a great entrance way garden to one of the best parks in the county. Join us tomorrow morning at the flagpole at 9:30 to be part of this effort. It won’t take long. Bring a shovel/etc. and a friend.  See you tomorrow.

  1. I'm very grateful to the club for all they do but the village should be doing this, not adding expense and staff time and our money towards Gouveia property. Did you know they just bonded $200,000 for the property, we still don't know what it's going to be used for, all their original cost projections were worth nothing. What happens Leo when the volunteers disappear.
