With a new puppy in the house, our tree is smaller this year and placed on a sideboard buffet which left little room for a village. Like Dianne, I put the entire display, with battery operated lights, in the china hutch. of course, everything in the hutch was sent to the garage for the season and that was a pain but the village looks great. I may do it this way every year. It just goes to show you that you can find room for villages if you think outside of the box. A friend uses her living room bookcase. Linda
ReplyDeleteI had to start using the bookcase built-ins years ago when we got a dog. Now I can't think of setting up a village any other way. I'll try to send some pictures. Great collection of old houses by the way. Thank you Dianne and EverythingCroton for sharing them
