THE CROTON VILLAGE GARDEN CLUB'S 1ST PROJECT FOR 2013

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

As some of you know--after being absent for many years--the ‘Croton Village Garden Club’ has been recreated. You can see the first project--at the waterfront--by clicking on the photo. A lot of cleanup was necessary and more plantings are on the horizon. FYI, the club is sponsored by the Croton Conversation Advisory Council. Kudos to the volunteers!

If you are interested in gardening and contributing to making Croton a more attractive community, please contact Richard Zumbach at rdzumbach@yahoo.com or 914-271-3154.

  1. It's unfortunate that when acquiring land, the village does not fully understand all that it really takes to keep and maintain it. Too often it is the volunteers who are forced to reclaim and take care of things. That said, my sincere thanks to the CACC. I hope they turn their attention to those shabby barrel planters soon.
