We love love this old ad for Schlitz beer--from 1945. It says alot about the times--and how supplies for the fighting men came first during WWII.
Greenleaf makes a number of small village kits—the parts are a light weight wood—and instead of putting them together, a friend has used them to create her own modified patterns for cardboard houses.
