MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHINGCROTON

Now here’s an interesting piece of architecture, an old opera house from Kingston, NY http://www.fohk.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/S-Oprah.gif

Greenleaf makes a number of small village kits—the parts are a light weight wood—and instead of putting them together, a friend has used them to create her own modified patterns for cardboard houses. They have three kits available; they are also the right size for under the tree or for an HO train layout:

Not long ago we featured a link to mid century putz house patterns at Retro Renovation; here’s a link to some that Lee made; click on the link, scroll down the page http://www.cardboardchristmas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=300

Dasher’s Diner—you have to read about and see this one; super cool—and begging to be putz-ified http://www.toyconnect.blogspot.com/2013/02/new-marx-ameritrains-dashers-diner.html
