THANK YOU FROM THE CROTON LIONS AND BOB ANDERSON

To the Editor:

Thank you to everyone in the Croton community who visited our 50/50 raffle and children’s craft table outside Bagels on Hudson last Saturday. Your donations and support help us continue serving our community.

Our many service projects include a free medical-equipment loan trailer (914-271-5200); scholarships for CHHS students, increased this year from $3,000 to $5,000; Arboretum improvements through a joint Eagle Scout project; local disaster-relief assistance; the Harry Chapin Run; support for BluePath service dogs; and much more.

We hope to hold another 50/50 raffle soon, so please stay tuned. Our annual Christmas tree sale begins Saturday, November 28, across from ShopRite. Artificial trees may be convenient, but we still think a real tree is the best!

Lions Clubs is the world’s largest service organization, with nearly 1.5 million members. The Croton Lions welcomes new members. Contact us at crotonlionsclub@gmail.com or visit crotonlions.org—we would be delighted to have you join us.

If you cannot commit to full membership, consider volunteering at a Croton Lions event. You may discover how rewarding it can be!

We Serve,

Bob Anderson
