PART ONE, QUAKER BRIDGE DEMO

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton-on-Hudson: our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship -- in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

Ed Reily reports that THIS MORNING they dropped Quaker Bridge INTACT into the CROTON RIVER from the Cortlandt/Ossining Side --best photos from that side, then Croton Side, then the Black Rock concrete foot bridge, then the Truesdale Drive Trail ABOVE Bridge Site. PHOTO OPS LIMITED. ACCESS CONTROLLED ESSENTIALLY. (BRIDGE WAS UNSAFE EverythingCroton: A WORD FROM THE TOWN OF CORTLANDT ABOUT QUAKER BRIDGE)

Here's a photo from Bob Anderson---it is unknown if any of the bridge will be salvaged, THE PLAQUE ETC.  Working on answers.

There will be more. Click on the image.
