HQ FOR FEDERAL PROSECUTORS MOVES FROM SYRACUSE TO ALBANY

Syracuse, N.Y. — The headquarters for federal prosecutors for much of Upstate New York has officially moved from Syracuse to Albany.

The U.S. attorney’s office for the Northern District of New York has had its primary office in the James M. Hanley Federal Building in downtown Syracuse since the 1970s.  The primary office will now be in the James T. Foley Courthouse in downtown Albany, the U.S. attorney’s office said in a Thursday news release.
