Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses or worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.
The Croton-Harmon Board of Education began a new year of service during its July 16 Organizational Meeting.
The district welcomed re-elected Board member Anamika Bhatnagar, and newly elected members Jake Day and Betsy Laird, who were officially sworn in to serve three-year terms.
Congratulations also to CHHS senior Nikhil Mukherjee, appointed Ex-Officio Student Trustee, and junior Madeline Kramer, appointed Associate Ex-Officio Student Trustee. The Board looks forward to the valuable student perspectives and insights they will bring to its discussions throughout the year.
As part of the meeting, the Board elected Anamika Bhatnagar to serve as President and Omar Mayyasi to serve as Vice President.
The Board also recognized previous President, Ana Teague, and extended its sincere gratitude for her leadership and dedicated service to the Croton-Harmon learning community.
Congratulations to all, and thank you for your commitment to our students, schools and community!
