AVOID RIVER---POWER OUTAGE AT SEWAGE PLANT

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Westchester County health officials are telling people to stay out of the water as the long holiday weekend gets underway.  The Westchester County Department of Health is advising residents to avoid all recreational use of the Hudson River following a power failure at the Yonkers Sewage Treatment System.
