A WORD FROM SUPERVISOR BECKER AND SUPERINTENDENT TROMBLEE ON CRITICAL LEGISLATION AFFECTING THE HEN HUD DISTRICT

A critical piece of legislation affecting both the Hendrick Hudson School District and the Town of Cortlandt, as well as the village of Buchanan, is awaiting Governor Hochul's signature.

If signed into law, it would extend the Indian Point Cessation Mitigation Fund for five additional years, continuing critical financial support for the Hendrick Hudson School District, the Town of Cortlandt and the Village of Buchanan, with Hendrick Hudson receiving more than $20 million over the life of the extension.
