If signed into law, it would extend the Indian Point Cessation Mitigation Fund for five additional years, continuing critical financial support for the Hendrick Hudson School District, the Town of Cortlandt and the Village of Buchanan, with Hendrick Hudson receiving more than $20 million over the life of the extension.
In this joint message, Superintendent Michael Tromblee and Town Supervisor Dr. Richard Becker explain why this legislation matters and how residents can help by participating in the Hendrick Hudson PTA Advocacy Committee's community letter-writing campaign.
Please take a few minutes to watch the video, then visit HenHudAdvocacy.com to learn more and send a letter encouraging the Governor to sign the bill.
Thank you for continuing to support our students, our schools, and our community.
